Tentmakers Support Prayer Network (TSPN) is “An Action Ministry To, For, By, and Through Believers in Business.” We support believers in businiess (aka Tentmakers) in deepening their commitment to Christ, their familes, their employees, their local churches and missions AND increasing their niche impact and marketshare. We further desire to be of practical, marketplace help to businesses as per James 2: 14-17. As Scripture adminishes, we want to put 'feet' to our praying for Tentmakers. --John Wannamaker, known as "The Merchant Price", a 20th Century Tentmaker par excellance, not only built a great business in Philadelphia, he was the economic engine for some of the USA's great early preachers and their work. (D. L. Moody and others come to mind here.) More modern 'Tentmaker Heroes' include folks as Anne Beiler of Auntie Anne's Pretzels and Ed Herr of Herr's Food (Herr's Potato Chips, etc?) and many more coming up locally and regionally to encourage us! We Tentmakers love our business niche as our calling by the Lord.

Tentmakers Prayer Support Network is a ministry of both encouragement and prayer as well as marketplace support to and through the Chrisitan business owner and his or her influence for Christ within their marketplace. We do this through reaffirming the true, life foundations of the Lord Jesus Christ and the Bible as truly God-breathed and profitable in one's personal life and for all things in the marketplace to God's glory.
